Hacking, Project Presentations, The Bay Lights, & Community Engagement
Join the San Francisco Brigade for our weekly hack night focused on open government and civic tech in San Francisco.
Let's work to improve San Francisco! Needs this week:
• People to give feedback - don't know how to code? We love you!
• Ruby / Rails devs
• User Researchers / UX/UI designers
• JavaScript engineers (interests or specializations in D3 would be great)
• Project managers / organizers
Agenda:
1. Presentation by one of the groups from the National Day of Civic Hacking
2. Gregory Stock of The Bay Lights (around 7:45pm) on the upcoming "Quantathon" THIS WEEKEND!!
3. Susan Stuart Clark on how technologists and "the community" can work better together.
4. Hacking! Note: you do not need to know how to code to "hack".
ALL are welcome, whether or not you know how to code.
